Salt Lake City – Mayor Ralph Becker will help Rocky Mountain Recycling honor Associated Food Stores tomorrow by co-presenting an award to recognize the company’s extensive recycling efforts in Salt Lake City.
The Mayor will present the award tomorrow at 9:00 a.m. in the Mayor’s Conference Room on the 3rd floor of the Salt Lake City & County Building.
Rocky Mountain Recycling is recognizing Associated Food Stores because of the comprehensive manner in which the company has instituted recycling efforts over the past year. In that time, Associated Food Stores has established a wide array of recycling efforts including: office recycling at corporate headquarters, recycling at warehouse locations company-wide, independent store recycling and the creation of an innovative reusable shopping bag program.
